An organized and experienced individual is sought for this editorial position, which provides direct involvement with authors, manuscript acquisitions, production processes for textbook/media publishing, as well as exposure to overall publishing business practices, methodologies, and procedures. The Associate Editor position works closely with Managing Editor, Acquisition Editors or Publisher to manage the editorial process from manuscript acquisition through development stages. * Evaluate project needs; analyze competing texts; assess originality of content. Requirements: * 4-year college degree or equivalent. Course work in areas related to publishing helpful. |
