This position will manage display advertising campaigns for our client (with an emphasis on excellent service and outstanding campaign management). In the process, you will create strategic media plans; project-managing all pre-launch work; owning campaign delivery; managing campaign performance through metrics analysis and reporting; and driving upsells and renewals.

Ability to make your own hours and work part time. . . perhaps 10-20 hours/week to start. Hourly base pay is guaranteed and HUGE COMMISSION.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prospect, pitch, negotiate and close advertising sales.
• Through understanding client's needs and objectives, develop ad packages/sponsorships which maximize revenue and CPMs.
• Develop and maintain high-level relationships with agencies and clients.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned markets and clients.

EXPERIENCE
• Important! Have worked in the book publishing industry or had book publisher clients. Strong rolodex in the book industry.
• Experience with display (CPM based) ads and selling custom solutions on premium sites
• Deep understanding of interactive advertising industry and associated key technologies and trends. This is a consultative sales position and your clients will be looking to you for insights and guidance in strategic decision-making
• Demonstrable track record in developing relationships with brand marketers at multiple levels within the organization. A strong contact list will give this candidate a huge advantage
• Experience in sales or business development in search, ad serving or other interactive advertising technology systems at the enterprise level
• Self-starter capable of thriving in a startup environment with the ability to balance need to close with strategic deal making
• Strong relationship building, customer services and presentation skills
• Exceptional ability to project manage and lead under tight deadlines
