Primary Responsibilities:
Marketing
• Oversee marketing and sales of company products and build brand awareness of company through various outlets
• Develop and implement strategic marketing strategies
• Manage online marketing and advertising
• Manage marketing collateral such as sales packets, displays, catalogs, etc.
• Create and maintain marketing copy
• Develop and implement monthly newsletter online
• Manage mailings to media, consumers, booksellers, and other contacts
Sales
• Maintain and monitor inventory
• Maintain contacts in databases
• Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts, promotional clients, and distribution partners
• Generate and analyze sales reports
• Make and maintain contacts with schools, libraries, bookstores, and museums
• Manage orders
Events and Outreach
• Promote launch of new products
• Manage event coordination
• Travel and represent company at events and conferences

Requirements: BA or BS or relevant experience; excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to travel; and valid driver’s license.
Desired: Prior experience working in marketing or marketing communications in a creative or educational environment; experience in the publishing industry; familiarity with QuickBooks.
