Description | Workman Publishing is seeking a Reprint Production Supervisor. In this role you will manage all aspects of production and manufacturing related to reprints of our extensive backlist, including both adult and children’s titles. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring reprint schedules, trafficking page corrections, processing invoices and resolving quality issues as needed. The candidate must also be capable to work with domestic and offshore vendors in varied book formats including book-plus products. You must also be able to handle special projects as they arise. Requirements: Three to five years experience in trade book production is required. Must have a solid understanding of all stages of book manufacturing including estimating, scheduling, pre-press, paper, printing and binding. Candidate must be a highly organized self-starter who is flexible and able to prioritize a busy workload. Desired computer skills include Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
