Description | Schiffer Publishing Ltd. seeks a highly motivated individual with a bachelor's degree for a full-time copy editor position. Attention to detail and excellent organizational, writing, editorial, and communication skills are a must. Competency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop are essential. Previous experience in the publishing or media industry is desired. Duties include organizing, reviewing, and assessing the text and images of manuscripts submitted for publishing; communicating with authors and editors; solving problems creatively; and copy editing final proofs of books for accuracy, consistency, spelling, punctuation, and style.
