ASME generates approximately $100 million annually from the sale of products and services and provides a wide range of mission focused programs and activities. We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Manager of Third Party Sales in our Fairfield, NJ office.

The Manager, Third Party Sales, will be responsible for managing the sales promotion and other related activities that support the sale of ASME products and services to libraries, trade markets, re-sellers, agents, consortia, and multi-site licenses. Develops new alliances with associations, institutions, and private companies in support of ASME sales distribution channels and manages the servicing of existing sales distribution channels. Will manage the promotion and licensing of ASME’s portfolio of Digital Library products, programs and services to the various sales distribution channels through all sales channels.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum 7 years of experience in publishing sales or additional equivalent experience. Successfully demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers a must. Individual must be persuasive with strong facilitating and negotiating skills. Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal; strong organizational, management and analytical skills and be results oriented. Experience in sales forecasting, and fulfillment essential. Technical book, journal and electronic publishing and licensing experience preferred.
