Description | Capstone, an innovative children’s book publishing company that supports today’s learner, has an immediate opening in our Bloomington, MN office for a Senior Library Product Manager. This position is responsible for planning, evaluating, and approving all products developed and created for the Library Market and for collaborating with other Product Managers/Planners to create a list of shared content that meets product performance and budgetary requirements for each of Capstone’s identified strategic markets. The successful candidate will have a BA degree in education or related field; 2+ yrs School Library experience and/or teaching experience with at least 7 years experience developing Library products for the school library market. Understanding of K-8 curriculum is required; book publishing and/or digital media experience preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to collaborate and be a part of a team as well as be an independent contributor; ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines; excellent communication and presentation skills; and have the ability to thrive in a fast-pace, entrepreneurial environment. |
