Job Description Summary:
• Associate Marketing Manager works directly with the Marketing & Brand Management team within Scholastic Media division to support brand marketing and product release campaigns. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategy, writing copy, conceptualizing and directing creative, and implementing tactics to support children’s content across multiple platforms – including but not limited to advertising, promotion, events, PR, packaging, social media, third party cross-promotion, sales and retail, online, email marketing and SEO and research.

Job Description Detail:
• Assist in brand strategy development, including positioning statements, new idea generation, partner outreach and sales / retail development support.
• Manage Licensee communications across certain categories; conceptualize and implement cross promotional efforts across a wide variety of categories.
• Initiate, secure and execute third party partnerships and increased visibility for brands.
• Write and develop marketing materials – including one sheets, ads, marketing kits, brochures, giveaways, sales presentations etc. Coordinate workflow with design, online and production teams as needed – and secure third party approvals.
• Coordinate and facilitate brand website enhancements and promotions; coordinate social media initiatives and cross category promotions
• Write and coordinate ongoing maintenance of all sales solicitation material
• Manage marketing budgets in conjunction with strategic goals
• Assist in Trade Show Exhibition needs as necessary
• Assist Vice President with other projects as needed
