Description:
Perseus Distribution is seeking an experienced sales or marketing professional to manage relationship with distribution clients. Ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is highly organized.

Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for managing the relationship with a set of client publishers including the following tasks:
• Manage print and ebook sales for client publishers
o In conjunction with publisher and sales directors, develop projections for frontlist titles
o Track progress of orders vs. projections
o Provide clients with final projections for print decisions
o Provide guidance on merchandising opportunities for e and p books
o Track missing orders
• Review POS and upcoming publicity and work with sales to maximize opportunities
• Facilitate communication between clients and warehouse staff
• Facilitate communication between digital distribution team and clients
• Facilitate communication between academic marketing team and clients
• Train new clients on systems and processes
• Manage new clients and exiting client transitions
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Education: Must be college graduate (BA)

Experience: Must have 7+ year prior sales, marketing or distribution experience
Skills: Must be self motivated, and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, managerial, organizational and trouble-shooting skills.
