We are seeking an aggressive and experienced sales person with book trade experience to join our sales team; call on trade and non-traditional markets with our highly regarded products covering PA, OH, MD, DEL, VA, DC, W VA, upstate NY, MA and RI. This is a well-established territory with many existing accounts. The position reports directly to the National Sales Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain expert product knowledge for title list presentations
Broaden the customer base to insure territory growth
Coordinate coverage with telemarketing representatives
Explore promotional opportunities
Complete and transmit weekly activity reports, conform to the required reporting of the company
Prepare for, attend and actively participate in all required sales meetings
Attend trade shows to represent publisher

Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in (list specialty?) book publishing
Extensive travel throughout the territory
Excellent time management skills
Energetic with strong presentation skills
Ability to develop and maintain long lasting relationships with key decision makers
