The job
Scribd works with hundreds of the world's most prestigious companies and organizations to publish their written works online. We've scored partnerships with the world's biggest publishing companies, newspapers, non-profits, government organizations, and universities including the New York Times, Random House, the World Bank, Ford Motor Company, and the Obama Presidential Campaign. Scribd is unusual in that our partners run the gamut across many industries.

We are looking for a high energy individual to take this partnership strategy to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to get to work directly with high-level representatives of many organizations. It is a role of high importance to the company and will be entrusted with executing our most strategic initiatives. Since there are hundreds of partners but only one SPM, it will be an intense position with constant demands.

What you'll do
You will act as Scribd's main point of contact for our content partners. Your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day management of the relationship with our existing partners, ensuring that they are getting the most out of Scribd. You will also source, qualify, and close new partnerships. Critical to this will be your ability to act as front-line tech support for our key partners, necessitating a deep understanding of the Scribd product and its capabilities.

You will be the "voice" of the partners at product meetings and help us prioritize our roadmap to address their needs. You'll work with our product team to identify new opportunities and get customer feedback on new product initiatives.

About Scribd
Scribd is the world’s largest social reading and publishing company with more than 90 million readers every month. Notably, we're already a top 100 website and host more than 5% of all the publications on the web - and we’ve done it all with a team of only 40 people. We’ve won lots of awards, raised $26M along the way and we're at the threshold of some breakthrough launches, but the journey is only 1% finished. We’re hiring aggressively throughout 2012 and beyond to take Scribd to the next level.

Scribd has a unique company culture that combines a laid-back atmosphere (we have company go-karts and an office zipline) with a phenomenal team and work environment - the best way to experience it fully is to read through our jobs page (http://www.scribd.com/jobs) and watch our infamous go-kart racing video.

Scribd headquarters is an airy, naturally-lit loft in the heart of San Francisco's SOMA technology district. We offer highly competitive salaries, generous equity stakes, stellar benefits, flexible work hours, catered lunches and dinners, a well stocked kitchen, and the opportunity to have an adventure.
