Description	F+W Mediais seeking a National Accounts Director for its Adams Media business. This position will be responsible for directly selling into a large national chain while overseeing the overall trade, mass market, and specialty business for the Adams division. Duties & Responsibilities: ■ Manage our Adams Media Non-fiction and Fiction lines, including selling all frontlist titles (approx 175/yr) ■ Manage backlist selling ■ Work with the finance department on monthly and quarterly forecasts and budgets ■ Work with the sales team to create account specific promotions and managing the coop program. Knowledge & Skills: ■ The ideal candidate will be a goal-focused, seasoned National Accounts Director, with strong industry contacts and several years of experience selling to trade, specialty, mass market and wholesale accounts. ■ Must have excellent communication skills, good working knowledge of the publishing business and the ability to translate account shifts/trends to the publishing team. ■ Must be analytically minded, able to create key sales reports and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. ■ Bachelors Degree preferred ■ A minimum of 5 years of Sales experience in the publishing industry is strongly preferred EOE
