Description
The International Sales Manager will be responsible for print and digital sales to Latin America and The Caribbean, Middle East, Northern Africa and the overseas Military. Will work closely with account base in the respective markets and travel into the markets to present new titles and visit key accounts. Travel is approximately 40% of the year to include territory travel to major bookfairs and company sales conferences and other meetings. The International Sales Manager will also manage all sales processes related to his/her account base, including oversight of customer service and credit control. There will be significant interaction with publishers and various in-house groups.


• Manage sales to territory account base and all related sales and marketing processes.
• Travel 2-3 times per year into regional markets.
• Conduct sales presentations and product negotiations during account visits and at book fairs.
• Primary international contact for select publishers.
• Attend seasonal marketing meetings.
• Attend BEA, LBF and Guadalajara and company sales conferences.
• Participate in management of cetain department functions
Knowledge of the publishing industry.
• Experience in international sales, particularly Latin America and Middle East. Other markets a plus.
• Strong sales, marketing, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong organization and detail orientation.
• Good business technology skills.
• Able to work effectively in fast paced sales environment.
• Capable of managing several projects simultaneously while managing territory sales achievement.
• Must be fluent in Spanish.

• The sales manager will interact with customers, in-house depts: customer service, credit control, title management, marketing, managers and supervisors
• Bachelor’s degree required. Technology skills. Presentation skills. Negotiation skills. Spanish is a requirement. Portuguese and other languages a plus.
