ABRAMS seeks an organized, creative thinker, with the ability to motivate sales groups to support sales efforts, to oversee and direct special market sales through commission groups. Individual will be responsible for supervising the efforts of the US special markets commission groups; setting the annual sales goals for each group; monitoring individual and group performance by reviewing daily and monthly sales reports and periodically traveling with the reps; communicating sales opportunities to the commission groups; identifying best seller titles for each account type and encouraging best practice usage and feedback; coordinating and presenting new titles to commission groups and setting title goals; participating in business meetings with key customers; creating and preparing sales analysis identifying trends; overseeing ABRAMS participation at regional gift shows; participating in the planning of the NY gift show and summarizing order results; participating in the weekly sales and marketing meeting.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree; 3 - 5 years' sales experience within the publishing industry; excellent communication skills and ease of presenting sales information and titles to large groups; strong analytical skills with an attention to detail. Individual must be proficient in: Excel - both data entry and spreadsheet formulation; PowerPoint and Word. Travel required - up to 20%.
