Description
Workman Publishing is seeking a Junior Production Manager. In this role you will both act as an assistant to the production department and also handle production on front-list titles. The assistant work includes booking and tracking overseas freight, maintaining production reports, filing and other administrative tasks. The production responsibilities include, but are not limited to, estimating, monitoring schedules, processing invoices and resolving quality issues as needed.

One to two years experience in trade book production is recommended. Candidates should have a solid understanding of all stages of book manufacturing including pre-press, paper, printing and binding. Applicant must be a highly organized self-starter who is flexible and able to prioritize a busy workload. Desired computer skills include Mac OS and Microsoft Office.
