Under the direction of the Head of Library Sales, the Northeast US territory manager is responsible for the successful promotion and sale of Blackstone Audio products in public libraries.
The territory manager will be working from their home office and will be expected to travel the multi-state territory.

Main Responsibilities:
• Aggressively pursue orders, sell and promote Blackstone Audio products to existing and prospective customers in assigned territory.
• Qualifies accounts as needed to determine sales opportunities and identify additional contacts/buyers. If an opportunity is identified for another sales area, takes appropriate action to forward the lead.
• Organizes and manages sales leads to capitalize on selling/placement opportunities and ensure all leads are contacted based on the cycle criteria.
• Services all customers, in a professional manner. Resolves customer service problems to the mutual satisfaction of both the company and the customer.
• Accurately completes and processes documentation related to customer transactions.

Position Requirements
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Confident, assertive and goal oriented.
• Ability to learn the sales process and effectively apply it.
• Prior library sales, customer service, or business experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must love reading and be able to converse about books.
• Bachelor’s Degree is desired.
