Responsibilities:

Receive, produce and deliver digital content for ebook store, POD store and in-store content programs on schedule. This includes overseeing all QA (i.e., ebooks)
Manage all publisher business issues including reporting, taking titles off sale, vendor set up and contract compliance
Ensure BN.com has 100% of available content from Publishers (create ability to pull print to ebook lists)
Problem solve for all issues that come up between content and Information Technology that involves getting content on sale
Create processes to ensure efficient vendor setup and the accurate transfer of all data

Qualifications:

5-8 years industry experience including 4+ years experience managing digital content publishing projects required
Extensive experience managing digital conversion production programs including experience working with (or for) book or magazine publishers, or digital data conversion vendors strongly preferred
Proven track record of successful project management required
Ability to work on tight deadlines and to problem solve required
Extensive knowledge of ebook and digital content tagging standards strongly preferred
BA/BS required
MBA a plus
