F+W Media, a publisher of special interest books and magazines in a broad variety of consumer hobbyist and enthusiast categories seeks a Specialty Sales Manager.

The Specialty Sales Manager will report to the Director, Specialty Sales and carry out multiple responsibilities and duties including but not limited to:
•Increase revenue in key F+W categories across divisions through telemarketing, direct mail, and email efforts. Some account and trade show responsibilities will require travel (up to twice a month).
•Research ways to reach new special sales markets
•Develop and implement plans for direct sales in new markets in addition to working with outside sales organizations to grow sales in established markets.
•Conduct sales analysis for assigned areas of responsibility with the purpose of identifying trends and sales opportunities. Provide direction to the outside sales organizations as well as provide feedback to the rest of the Company about the performance of these markets.
•Work with the Director, Specialty Sales to set sales and expense goals.

Specialized skills and educational requirements:
•Experience in sales management (to include either management of field staff or outside sales organizations) is preferred.
•Understanding of Walmart Retail Link, 1Sync and back office operations is highly preferred
•Experience in selling Outdoor, Firearms, Numismatics, and Antique & Collectibles product is highly desirable
•Experience in development and implementation of viral marketing programs a plus.
•Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
•Must have strong customer service orientation.
•Must have working knowledge of Excel, Wordpress and Powerpoint.
•Four-year degree or equivalent experience is required.
