We are currently recruiting for a Content Acquisition Sales Specialist to join our team based in New York City, NY. This Sales Specialist will serve as ICG’s primary contact for assigned micro publishers wanting ICG digital products and services in all global markets. They must be flexible and fully understand the complexity of the rapidly evolving and expanding book marketplace to be able to successfully sell ICG products and services. The representative will be expected to work independently growing existing accounts with ICG services, as well as securing new business relationships with new publishers and content companies—especially ones focusing on new publishing models (such as e-only). The representative will assess customer’s needs and determine whether they meet ICG content and business requirements. They will introduce and educate approved customers to ICG business terms, legal and financial documents, products and services related to POD, ebook, channel partner distribution, data asset management, and marketing.

Minimum Education and Experience required:
•College Degree OR year for year experience
•3 years experience in B2B sales.

Preferred Experience:
•Ability to travel at least 30-50% of the time
•Prior publishing industry experience
