Christian Book Award Finalists Announced

The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) nominated 59 authors for 2017 Christian Book Awards, the most prestigious annual recognition in evangelical Christian publishing. Among the finalists are Tim Tebow (Shaken, WaterBrook); Randy Alcorn (Happiness, Tyndale); and Sadie Robertson (Live Original Devotional, Howard Books). 

New categories such as faith & culture, biography & memoir, young people's literature, and ministry resources, have been added to the awards program this year following the ECPA's acquisition of the Christy Award program, which recognizes excellence in Christian fiction. Christian fiction finalists will be announced this fall.

Winners of the Christian Book Awards as well as the 2017 Christian Book 2017 Christian Book of the Year will be announced on May 2 during the ECPA Leadership Summit in Colorado Springs, Colo.
