Joan Bertin Steps Down at NCAC

Joan Bertin, the longtime executive director of the National Coalition Against Censorship, will step down from her role in June. Bertin became the executive director of NCAC in 1997, after more than two decades working in the non-profit legal sector, first representing indigent clients in welfare, housing, and employment disputes, and then as an attorney in the national office of the ACLU. She will continue working with NCAC as an advisor and board member.
