'The Green Mile' Meets 'The Firm'?

That could be the high-concept pitch of first novel The Innocent by 33-year-old Vincent Zandri, just sold by agent Jimmy Vines to Dell editor Jacob Hoye in a two-book, mid-six-figure deal. The novel is about the warden of an upstate New York prison, who pursues the trail of an escapee and ends up being accused of murder himself.
