Bilheimer, Dressler Expanding BEA Roles
-- 7/20/98
Organizers of BookExpo America have retained the services of two veteran publishing advisers to develop and expand the conference programs.
Roger Bilheimer, BEA's publicity and public relations adviser in 1997 and 1998, will have an expanded role helping to create new BEA programs. Mark Dressler, president of the Crystal River Publishing Group and former chairman of the Independent Publishers Institute, will design and implement BEA's workshops, seminars and lectures.

In addition to his media relations work, Bilheimer -- who recently left a partnership in the book division of Jericho Communications -- will work closely on BEA long-range planning. Previously, Bilheimer was v-p and executive director of publicity for Dell Publishing and Delacorte Press. Dressler, who was group v-p with the Jenkins Group, will serve as director of education for BEA's portion of the conference program.

Roger Bilheimer may be reached at (908) 233-4107; Mark Dressler is at (616) 932-0475.
