Brown to Resign As Kensington Publisher
-- 9/7/98
Lynn Brown, who has served as vice-president and publisher of Kensington Publishing Corp. for the last five years, will leave the company by the end of September. Brown told PW she is leaving after 17 years to spend more time with her three children. She said she has not yet decided if she will maintain an ongoing role with Kensington.
Commenting on her departure, Kensington chairman Walter Zacharius said Brown "has been a driving force in this company's coming-of-age and I will sorely miss her wisdom and creative energy." Kensington is currently conducting a search for Brown's successor.
