Bestselling author and popular radio talk show host Laura Schlessinger has been enjoying the upper ranks of the national bestseller charts for more than a month with The Ten Commandments: The Significance of God's Laws in Everyday Life, co-authored with Rabbi Stewart Vogel. Publisher Cliff Street Books, a division of HarperCollins, currently has 300,000 copies in print after seven trips to press. Both the Jewish market, with a major book mailing to rabbis for their high holiday sermons, and the Christian market, via James Dobson's radio show and appearances on The 700 Club and Robert Schuller's Hour of Power, were targeted. On the latter show, which aired October 11, Schuller gave the book a major endorsement. Schlessinger's syndicated radio show is carried by more than 430 stations across the U.S, with a total audience of about 18 million.
