Marty Keeley, president and CEO of Ingram International told PW that international sales were up 57% last year. The main reason: the top five customers for the company are Internet bookstores, including Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de, whose business is exploding. Sales to the U.K. alone were up 401%, mostly because of demand from Amazon.com's subsidiary there. Keeley also noted that sales to traditional bookstores abroad are up 15%.
