The publisher of the World Almanac will launch a new line of educational books for young adults. The World Almanac Library will release its first 18 titles this fall, with plans to add 50 titles in 2002 and 75 in 2003. The fall releases, designed for classroom, library and home use, are grouped into three categories—Trailblazers of the Modern World, 21st Century Science and Great Explorers—and will feature photos, maps, charts and illustrations.
