Diane Davy has been named the new president of Key Porter Books, replacing Susan Renouf, who stepped down to become associate publisher in order to work more closely with authors. Davy, who joins Key Porter today, July 30, will be responsible for the company's business management, allowing publisher Anna Porter to focus on publishing, acquisitions, new title development and expansion into international markets, where the house has met with much success.

"Davy has had a lot of experience in media companies and she has certainly proven that she's a hard worker and has staying power. She's well regarded in the industry," Porter told PW. Davy will be leaving her position as president of the NextMedia Company Inc., a marketing and consulting company specializing in the television, music and publishing industries, to join Key Porter. Davy's most recent publishing experience was as president and publisher of Greey de Pencier Books, where she was president and publisher from 1997 to 2000.
