An illustrated book about the life of boxing legend Muhammad Ali by his daughter Maryum (known as May May) has been taken by Oregon's Beyond Words Publishing, where children's managing editor Barbara Mann bought world rights. The book, Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee: The Story of Muhammad Ali, has the boxer's cooperation, will contain some of his own poems and will be extensively illustrated. Agent Susan Crawford, who made the sale, said she had spent time recently with Ali and his daughter in Los Angeles, where the fighter was "in terrific form, doing magic tricks and telling jokes." Beyond Words will publish in fall next year.
