Putnam lands both of the two new books in the top 15 hardcover fiction this week. The first, Catherine Coulter's Eleventh Hour, goes all the way to #3. It's her seventh bestselling novel, and was launched with more than 300,000 copies in print and a 12-city publicity tour. The second, Lawrence Sanders' McNally's Alibi: An Archy McNally Novel by Vincent Lardo, has 110,000 copies in print. Sanders wrote 22 bestsellers before he died in 1998; this is Lardo's third McNally bestseller.
