The first woman to anchor the award-winning Talk Soup TV show is also an accomplished African-American actress and comedienne, Aisha Tyler, and Dutton has just signed her to do a book that will be "a modern girl's guide to life." The deal, for North American and serial rights, was made by associate editor Amy Hughes with Dan Strone at Trident Media Group, working with Brian Lipson at Endeavor and Tyler's manager, William Ward. According to Tyler, she got the idea for a book about the hundreds of women she has spoken to during her comedy shows, both onstage and off, about what they seek in life—and she wants to put it together for them.
