Jill Rappaport, entertainment correspondent for NBC's Today and Dateline, has sold a celebrity book in which a group of high-profile actors, musicians, models and athletes share her predilection for horses. A Passion for Horses was just bought for a "very healthy" six figures by Rodale's Stephanie Tade from agent Matthew Guma at Arthur Pine Associates. The book will be a lavishly color-illustrated collection of personal equestrian stories and photographs (taken by Jill's sister, photographer Linda Solomon) and will benefit from promotional appearances on Jill's shows, as well as a prime-time special starring the author and several of the celebs in the book. It's all set for delivery in fall 2004.
