After eight years with Candlewick Press, Tammy Johnston, v-p for sales and marketing and associate publisher, will leave the company February 28. Johnston has no immediate plans, but said she "felt the time was right" to leave. Candlewick president Karen Lotz credited Johnston with playing a key role in building Candlewick's sales, which were $24.6 million in 2002. The company has begun a search for her replacement.
