St. Martin's Press is pleased with the early sales performance of Stephen Coonts's 12th national bestseller, Liberty; the book enjoys its second week at the #13 spot on PW's list. The publisher reports that the author's five-city tour was very successful, with all signings "extremely well attended." His latest book's plot concerns terrorists smuggling nuclear weapons into the U.S., so it's no surprise that Coonts has had many media interviews on current international affairs (and SMP reports that more interviews are scheduled for this month). First printing for Liberty is 150,000 copies.
