After being without a director for nearly a year and a half following the departure of Lois Patton, Temple University Press has named Alex Holzman to the post. Holzman moves to Temple from Cambridge University Press, where he was manager of consortia sales and new media partnerships. He had been with Cambridge for 10 years. Temple University Press specializes in social sciences and humanities publishing and has also published books in African-American and women's studies. It puts out about 50 titles per year.
