A memoir that traces the often rambunctious life where the Kennedy clan intersected with the Hollywood elite has just been preempted for Morrow by executive editor Maureen O'Brien. It's a so-far untitled book that Christopher Kennedy Lawford, son of movie actor Peter Lawford and Patricia Kennedy, has been writing, and O'Brien says that what she's seen so far is "very candid and soulful." It covers Lawford's often wild life, in which he became a drug addict (he's been in recovery for 20 years now). O'Brien bought U.S., Canadian, Philippines and audio rights from agent Loretta Barrett and will publish in fall 2005.
