A memoir, his first, by noted actor and Actors Studio pioneer Eli Wallach was bought by Harcourt publisher Andre Bernard. In the book, called The Good, the Bad and Me, Wallach will write of his early days in Brooklyn; his 50 years as a screen and stage actor in New York, Hollywood and Europe, his long partnership, onstage and off, with Ann Jackson; and his role in the launch of the Actors Studio, which was central in the early careers of stars like Marlon Brando and Paul Newman. Bernard bought world rights (excluding German, to be sold separately) from agent Marly Rusoff.
