Juris Jurjevics, who is more accustomed to selling others' books as publisher of Soho Press, has just made a deal for a thriller he wrote himself. It's called The Trudeau Vector, and the buyer, for a six-figure advance, was Molly Stern at Viking. She bought U.S. rights from agent Henry Dunow and sales have also been made, by Dunow and his U.K. associate, Andrew Nurnberg, to Canada, Germany, Spain, Italy, Holland, Australia and Norway. The book, which is to be published next summer, is about the hunt for a deadly virus infecting an Arctic research station.
