Tracy Behar, the editorial director for Atria and Washington Square Press, is moving over to Little, Brown as executive editor, where she'll create and shape a list of books on "life-improvement categories," like parenting, spirituality and science. The house says it has titles of this kind on its backlist, but they're not presently part of its program. Behar will report to editor-in-chief Geoff Shandler. At S&S, Behar's authors included the Dalai Lama and Neale Donald Walsch. She'll start at LB January 18.
