Atria Promotes Three



Three editors have been promoted at Atria Books: Wendy Walker, Suzanne O'Neill and Sarah Branham. All three have been given the same title bump, from associate editor to editor.

Peeling Joining Public Affairs

Whitney Peeling is joining Public Affairs as director of publicity. Most recently at Houghton Mifflin as assistant director of publicity, Peeling will begin at Public Affairs December 19, succeeding longtime publicity director Gene Taft, who's relocating to the Washington, D.C., area.

Belfiglio to Workman

Brian Belfiglio is the new marketing director at Workman. Previously a director of publicity at Crown Publishing Group, where he spent 13 years in the publicity department, Belfiglio has worked with such authors as Dave Barry, Michael Moore and Deepak Chopra.

Raymo Climbs at HM Children's

Margaret Raymo has been named editorial director of Houghton Mifflin Books for Children. Throughout her 18 years with the company, most recently as executive editor, Raymo has worked with a variety of authors and illustrators, including Steve Jenkins, Tim Egan and Calef Brown.

Promos at Naggar Lit

Alice Tasman, Mollie Glick and Jessica Regel have all been promoted at the Jean V. Naggar Literary Agency. Tasman has been named senior agent, while Glick has been promoted from Naggar's assistant to agent, and Regel goes from Jennifer Weltz's assistant to agent.
