Dan Butler will narrate Chuck Greaves’s Green-Eyed Lady, the follow-up to the author’s debut novel, Hush Money. Butler was nominated for an Audie Award for his reading of the previous installment in the mystery series, which is based on the adventures of lawyer Jack MacTaggart.

Brilliance Audio Sticks with Baker for Odd Thomas

David Aaron Baker will read Deeply Odd, the sixth thriller in Dean Koontz’s Odd Thomas series, for Brilliance Audio. Fans have said they cannot imagine anyone but television and film veteran Baker giving voice to the author’s clairvoyant hero.

Vachss and Dreamscape Request Gigante for New Series

Longtime Andrew Vachss audio collaborator Phil Gigante will narrate Aftershock, the first thriller in the author’s new series, which is about a former mercenary named Dell and his wife, Dolly. Vachss personally requested that the audiobook be read by Gigante, who will be joined by real-life wife Natalie Ross in narrating the fictional couple’s adventures for Dreamscape Media.

Echristian Backs Heller to Wrestle the Devil

Johnny Heller will narrate Echristian’s audio edition of pro-wrestling superstar Lex Lugaer’s memoir, Wrestling with the Devil. Luger—also known as “The Total Package”—rose to fame inside the ring, but battled addiction and spent time behind bars before finding faith, grace, and redemption.

Hachette Audio Makes Casella an Offer He Can’t Refuse

Max Casella is slated to read Mario Puzo’s The Making of the Godfather for Hachette Audio. Listeners will remember Casella from his roles as Benny Fazio on The Sopranos and, more recently, as Leo D’Alessio on Boardwalk Empire.

HarperAudio Lands Stevens for Agatha Christie Brace

Dan Stevens—who is most famous for playing Matthew Crawley on television’s Downton Abbey—will read two classic Agatha Christie novels in brand-new recordings for HarperAudio. The narrator will perform the author’s bestselling And Then There Were None and Murder on the Orient Express, which features one of the most famous fictional detectives of all time, Hercule Poirot.

Listen and Live Audio and Kellgren Back for Bloody Jack

Katherine Kellgren will continue to voice L.A. Meyer’s Bloody Jack Adventures, narrating the 11th installment in the popular YA series, Boston Jacky, for Listen and Live Audio. This time around, heroine Jacky Faber finds herself in Boston and at odds with the Women’s Temperance Union. The Bloody Jack Adventures have won Odyssey Honors and Audie Awards.

Macmillan and O’Reilly Return for Third Installment

Bill O’Reilly is back in the recording studio for Macmillan, this time narrating his latest nonfiction book, Killing Jesus, which he coauthored with Martin Dugard. Following the massive success of the audio editions of O’Reilly’s Killing Lincoln and Killing Kennedy, which was nominated for the Audie Award for Audiobook of the Year, Killing Jesus will be one to watch on the audio bestseller list.

Penguin Audio Delivers Two from Dahl and Stevens

Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens will read Roald Dahl’s two nonfiction books for children, Boy and Going Solo, recounting Dahl’s hilarious boyhood antics and his exploits as a World War II pilot, respectively, in a Penguin Audio production.

Random House Audio Pairs Streep and Ephron

Meryl Streep will narrate the late Nora Ephron’s 1983 novel Heartburn for RH Audio. The novel has not previously been released as an audiobook. Streep and Ephron were close friends, and Streep starred in the book’s 1986 film adaptation.

Patton to Narrate Burke for S&S Audio

Will Patton will narrate the Simon & Schuster audio edition of James Lee Burke’s Light of the World—the latest thrilling mystery in the author’s Dave Robicheaux series. Patton, whose film credits include A Mighty Heart, Remember the Titans, and Armageddon, has read previous audiobooks by Burke.

Film Legend Jones Narrates Memoir for Tantor Media

Academy Award–winner Shirley Jones—who starred in Oklahoma!, Carousel, The Music Man, Elmer Gantry, and television’s The Partridge Family—will narrate Shirley Jones: A Memoir for Tantor, in which she dishes on everything from her highly charged sexuality to smuggling marijuana across the Mexican border.
