Although he quotes a battery of statistics, when it comes to drawing conclusions, however, Bohmbach relies on his feelings as a ``free American'' to make generalizations about how swell the country isand by extension, how high all Americans are livingand insists that things are getting better and better. Sample chapters read ``Even Our Millionaires Are Egalitarian'' and ``There's No Better Place to Work.'' This is a book for those who don't want rosy beliefs challenged. (July
