Digital library distributor OverDrive has added "thousands" of foreign language titles to its catalog by signing a number of new publishing clients. The company's online catalog has books in over 50 languages and the new titles include ones in Russian, Swedish, Portuguese, Italian, and Turkish with Spanish titles coming. The addition of the foreign titles brings OverDrive e-book catalog to 700,000.
Through the new agreements, OverDrive will now feature Spanish titles from Santillana USA, a publisher of adult fiction and nonfiction; Russian titles from MintRight, a distributor of Russian language books; Swedish titles from PubLit, which provides various Swedish titles, including Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, to libraries; Italian titles from Simonelli Editori, which offers titles in various genres including nonfiction, fiction and biography; Portuguese titles from Emooby; and Turkish titles from digital audiobook publisher SesleKitap.
