Abrams will launch Abrams Plus, a newly-named group of existing businesses comprised of Abrams gift and stationery line, Noterie, and its calendar, e-book, and digital businesses. Overseeing the group is Jess M. Brallier, who joins Abrams Plus this week in the position of v-p and publisher.

Brallier has previously worked at Little, Brown, Addison-Wesley, and Penguin. He also served as publisher and president of Pearson's digital consumer business, Family Education Network.

"Abrams has an enduring record of serving readers, making beautiful books and gifts and advancing the industry," Brallier said in a statement. "I'm honored to join Abrams and excited for the opportunity to contribute to its future growth."

Lindy Humphreys, who currently oversees e-books and digital publishing for Abrams, has been promoted to associate publisher of Abrams Plus. Humphreys, along with Noterie editorial director Karrie Witkin and editorial director of calendar publishing Miriam Tribble, will report to Brallier.

“The businesses that make up Abrams Plus are now formally recognized as an integral publishing unit at Abrams, and well positioned for accelerated growth," Abrams CEO and president Michael Jacobs said in a statement. "With the creative team currently in place as well as stellar resources from our design, production, managing editorial, sales, and marketing departments, Abrams Plus is poised to excel."
