Here it is, our spring preview. We’ve once again read the tea leaves of the upcoming season to pick promising titles in 15 categories and provide you with what we think is a sharp mix of works by big-name authors, auspicious debuts, buzzy indie books, and some that just have the X factor.

We do our adult announcements issues twice a year, and for each we ask publishers to send us everything they have coming up in a season. This ends up being many thousands of titles, only about 750 of which make it into print. So if you want to take a deeper dive into what’s on tap for spring, head on over to publishersweekly.com/announcements, where we have a searchable database of everything submitted.

One more thing: I’d be remiss if I didn’t remind you to check out our February 4 issue, which will feature our Spring Children’s Announcements.

Thanks again, and, as always, happy reading.
