Library Lounge 2017Library Lounge 2017

BookExpo is an exciting, whirlwind couple of days, a test of endurance and an unrelenting blitz of meetings, panels and programs--often completed with 30-pound bags of advance reading copies slung over each shoulder!

Sometimes, you need a break. And in the Librarians’ Lounge, booth 1856 on the exhibit floor, you’ll get just that, and more.

It is ONLY open to librarians.

A space just for you to unwind, recharge and refresh, with exciting opportunities to skip the lines, meet authors and editors and pick up galleys in a relaxing and fun environment.

The 2018 Librarians’ Lounge will present topnotch sponsors and marquee host Baker & Taylor. Publishers Weekly recognizes and thanks all the lounge sponsors—Baker & Taylor, Harlequin, Penguin Random House Library Marketing, Rowman & Littlefield, Sourcebooks, Vesuvian, Random House Children's Books, Disney, and InterVarsity Press.

Baker & Taylor

To support communities across the nation, Baker & Taylor chartered its Axis 3060 Community Sharing Program, which links public libraries and schools with an efficient e-books and audiobooks sharing platform. And the program is having an impact in a number of communities, linking students to a wider variety of content from their public libraries right in their schools and classrooms—and multiplying the return on investment of public tax dollars.

Representatives from hosts Baker & Taylor will be on hand in the Librarians’ Lounge throughout BookExpo to answer questions about the Axis 360 Community Sharing Program, or about any other B&T programs you may have.
