The Zyante Sales Rep is responsible for driving sales growth in university/college accounts throughout No. America. This includes mining opportunities in the 2-yr/4-yr college market and closing on those opportunities.

The successful Sales Rep will be highly proficient at:
-Understanding the organizational structure, timing and seasonality, and the decision-making process in colleges/universities.
-Understanding the needs and issues facing instructors who teach lower-division STEM courses, with emphasis on computer science, engineering and math.
-Developing account plans and strategy.
-Creating sales opportunities resulting in a dominant share position in community colleges, state colleges and universities.
-Calling and influencing at all levels in his/her accounts.
-Communicating educational needs, requirements and trends impacting Zyante’s roadmap to the Product Development team.
-Providing accurate and timely pipeline and forecast information.
-Maintaining all sales activity data within Zyante’s CRM.

Skills Required:
-A quantifiable record of success in sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals. Prior experience in Education/EdTech sales is preferred. Particular sales experience selling to STEM college-level instructors and department faculty departments is a plus.
-Minimum of 4+ years of sales experience.
-Experience with a solution-based approach to solving customer needs and an understanding of complex sales cycles.
-The ability to build consensus throughout the college/university system and to develop relationships at all levels.
-Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills and the ability to articulate Zyante’s product strategy and unique value proposition.
-Working knowledge of CRM system as a tool to manage the sales process.
-Education 
BS/BA degree preferred. 



Additional Requirements: Must be highly motivated and organized, work independently, and possess strong time management skills, analytical/problem solving skills.
