Description
The nation’s leading advocacy organization on behalf of children’s health seeks a detail-oriented individual to work 22.5 hours per week within our fulfillment area. This position will assist with managing the publications inventory, maintain accurate data in the inventory system for company-wide publications, direct inventory activities at our offsite warehouse, and analyze sales history in order to reorder inventory.

Reporting to the Manager of Inventory and Fulfillment Operations, this position will be responsible for analyzing inventory and recommending items to reorder, plus coordinate reprinting and delivery schedules with the Division of Editorial and Production Services. In addition, this position will monitor inventory and create purchase orders for resale items purchased from outside vendors, as well as input new publication products and promotional materials into the database system, and update pricing and product details.

Qualified candidates will have 2 years’ experience with publications inventory control required, including some physical inventory and utilizing inventory software; plus, a Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience). Proficiency with MS Office (especially Word and Excel) and knowledge of inventory management software is required, occasional overtime and weekend work may be necessary.
