ProseWorks Entertainment, a new and rapidly growing mainstream fiction production studio/publisher, is looking for a fiction producer.

The job involves the following:
- Handling communication between writers, editors, designers and others
- Developing dramatic concepts and direction for the writers
- Evaluating scripts and manuscripts
- Assisting in cover design
- Developing new characters, plots and ideas
- Other logistical work as needed

Job requirements are as follows:
- Exceptional feel and passion for drama & storytelling
- Ability to be versatile depending on the genre of the work
- Exceptional ability to create and visualize/evaluate sentences, characters, plots and ideas
- Great organizational and analytical skills
- Understanding of different genres and ability to counterweight and integrate both artistic and commercial considerations
- Skill of getting along with creative people and bringing out their best work
- Skill of getting along with business people and getting things done
- Flexibility, adaptability and problem solving skills
- Ability to make independent decisions based on overall direction/strategy
- Ability to work late or on weekends as needed
- Willingness to move as the job requires

The job requires visionary creative abilities as well as exceptional analytical skills. This position is more than an average 9-5 job and will require working late or working weekends. We are a small company that’s rapidly expanding so please be sure to understand this before you apply.

11. What is the premise of A Walk to Remember (the novel)? How is it similar and different from the premise of the Titanic (the movie)? Explain. (word limit: 600 words)

12. Why do you think the Da Vinci Code sell as much as it did? Why did Harry Potter series sell as much as it did? Discuss the similarities and differences in the characteristics that made each work a success . (word limit: 1,000 words).

13. Is there anything else we should know about you that makes you especially qualified to work with us? (word limit: 300 words)
