|Retail Sales Manager|

|This position is responsible for developing marketing and sales plans for Guideposts products in the Gift, Education and Specialty Markets to drive revenue and support increasing sales opportunities|
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include:
•Responsible for driving all marketing initiatives, actively promoting all retail books
•Identify and analyze new markets available.
•Develop and implement a business plan to sell to new markets.
•Identify and develop relationships with independent sales organizations to sell to new markets.
•Attend Trade Shows to present the Ideals products to the various markets available.
•Create sales programs for each market, including marketing campaigns, collateral development, media relations marketing, event marketing, advertising and sales outreach.
•Build strong relationships within the retail market and with existing accounts.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing is strongly desired with a minimum of 2 years sales and marketing experience, or equivalent combination. The candidate must have a proven track record of prospecting and closing the deal in outside sales. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationship with vendors in all specialty markets. Must have strong desire to achieve sales goals.Some travel required.
